Miniatures for Mindfulness!
A social painting group for wellbeing and community.
Second Tuesday of the Month
7-9 pm
Please join us at The Carousel for a monthly social miniature-painting event hosted by Ay Up Georgina and Dan. This is an evening dedicated to painting miniatures, enjoying a nice drink, and spending time with others in a relaxed, welcoming environment. Bring your miniatures, your paints, and enjoy a night of community and painting.
This event was created when Dan and Georgina were talking together about the therapeutic benefits of painting miniatures and how many people are drawn to the positive mental health benefits of making them. We discussed how miniature painting is often a solitary hobby or tied to competitive gaming spaces, and how we wanted to create a space that aims to offer something different. Something that aligns with the reason many people love painting them— how mindful it can be — and creating more community to support the many benefits of painting miniatures.
The intention is to create an inclusive, social space where painters can sit together, create at their own pace, and connect without competition or pressure. This is an open space for people to create, chat, and be in community with like minded people!
All miniature painters are welcome — whether you paint Warhammer, tabletop, or any other miniatures. Experience level doesn’t matter; the focus is on community, creativity, and enjoying the hobby together.
Please bring your miniatures and paints with you.
We have limited supplies to borrow that have been donated for our events.
Please be mindful that this is a 18+ event.
£5 tickets available here or available at the door.
Disclaimer: Please be mindful that this is a social community event and not a therapy group or therapy service. This event is being held in a community space with a bar/cafe present and event attendees may be drinking alcohol during the event. If you are interested in 1-1 art therapy please contact me here.
Art Therapy Book Club!
A intentionally slow book club
that uses art making during discussion.
Every First Tuesday of the Month
7:00 - 9:00 pm
Reading Schedule:
Give Yourself Permission to Rest, Create, and Just Be.
Welcome to our Art Therapy Book Club—a sanctuary for those wanting to take a take a break from our busy world and reflect on our lives, the world we live in, and the world we want it to be.
This is a unique hybrid of a book club and a space for using art therapeutically. This book club is intentionally slow and we may be reading the same book for many sessions. Together, we’ll explore powerful books that make us think about our lives, support wellbeing, or make us reflect, and use art to process our discussions, and share our journeys in a supportive community. No art experience needed—just an open heart.
In this space we open with a discussion of the chapter(s) we read, followed by an invitation to make art and continue chatting if you want to, followed by an invitation to share your work if you choose too. There is no pressure to read the chapters fully or read them at all, some people have joined for the vibes of the session and haven’t done any reading, all are welcome :)
A space for connection, creativity, and community.
If you are interested in joining this book club please purchase a ticket for the session you would like to attend!
People are allowed to join at any time.
Read. Discuss. Create. Restore.
Disclaimer: With this club being a hybrid space, I want to clarify that this is not a therapy group but a book club that will use art making to process our discussions within it. This event is being held in a community space with a bar/cafe present and book club members may be drinking alcohol during the event if they chose to. Tea and biscuits will be provided within the group. The books we read and discuss may have strong topics that may be triggering, please look after your wellbeing and skip any chapters you feel are too much. If you are interested in art psychotherapy and processing trauma or stress please reach out to me for 1-1 art therapy sessions.
International Therapist Meet Up!
June 7, 2026
1:00-4:00 pm
Are you an international trainee or qualified therapist or counsellor working in the UK? Would you like to meet up with other international therapists in a casual environment ? Join us!
I have met so many wonderful international therapists recently and I wanted to invite everyone and all of the people we haven’t had the chance to meet yet to The Carousel for a meet up.
We will have the main event space to ourselves and someone on the cafe/bar so we have a range of drinks and snacks available for purchase throughout the meet up. The fee for the event will cover the bar staffs wage for the event.
I really hope you join us for this causal meet up to meet fellow international therapists and chat :)
Look forward to seeing you there!
